Welcome to Room 104!

My name is Meg Haydon. I have taught in Wayland since 1993. I have taught for 26 years in Kindergarten and for 3 years in first grade at Claypit Hill. I live in Sudbury with my husband, 3 sons, my dog Finn and my cat Bryce. Before coming to Wayland I taught for several years as a preschool, Kindergarten, and first grade teacher in both regular and special education classrooms. I enjoy going to Maine with my family. I also enjoy running and find it's a great way to start my day. 

Donna Keane is the Teaching Assistant in our room. She has been a Kindergarten teaching assistant in Wayland for 18 years and has loved every minute! She grew up in Wayland and went to the Loker School as did her kids. In her spare time she loves to travel, relax at the beach and repurpose furniture. She also makes sure every day at school is filled with at least one good laugh!

My main goal is to meet the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual abilities of every child in accordance with their individual abilities and to challenge them through many experiences and activities. I strive to provide an appropriately balanced program.
